Dr. Henri Zhuri, MD is a double board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine with over seven years of experience helping patients in the primary care setting and with helping patients achieve lasting, medically supervised weight loss.
Dr. Zhuri completed his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds additional board certification in Obesity Medicine — a distinction held by a small percentage of physicians in the United States.
Having witnessed firsthand how the constraints of traditional medicine — rushed appointments, insurance gatekeeping, and fragmented care — prevent patients from receiving the attention they need, Dr. Zhuri founded Henri Wellness on a different model. Here, every patient receives direct access to their physician, unhurried appointments, and a treatment plan built around their individual biology, lifestyle, and goals.
Dr. Zhuri's approach to obesity medicine is rooted in the understanding that excess weight is a complex, chronic medical condition — not a matter of willpower. He combines the latest clinical evidence with FDA-approved medications, including GLP-1 therapies such as , Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic and Mounjaro, alongside personalized nutrition and exercise guidance to help patients achieve sustainable outcomes.
Dr. Zhuri is based in Massachusetts and sees patients virtually and in person throughout the state.
